Note*(Note: The story has it that James Jefferson, Roy and Dolly's mother died in childbirth and their father Adam Clinton passed a couple of years later. Their grandfather took them to Oklahoma to live with their father's brother Sherman. Apparently, he wasn't so nice, so James ran away and took his sister. The went to live with their father's sister, Margaret. She was married to Clit Glover, but she had also passed away in childbirth. However, Clit took in James and his sister, and they were later joined by Roy. James' son "Clit" was named after Clit Glover in appreciate for Mr. Glover's kindness in taking in him and his siblings.
