Alice Beatrice Freeman Whisnant

Alice Beatrice Whisnant, age 91, of North Little Rock, died August 6, 2014. She was born January 6, 1923, in Clark County, AR, the sixth child of Orey H. and Maude Arnold Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, James J. Whisnant, of North Little Rock, two sons, James Larry Whisnant (Sue) of Friendswood, TX and Virgil William Whisnant of North Little Rock, one daughter, Becky Terry (James) of North Little Rock, three grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation service will be provided by Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).

A private graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
