Cherie Whisenhunt

Cherie Whisenhunt 78, of Bullard died Nov. 1, 2011, after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 2, 1933, in Tyler.

Cherie graduated from Whitehouse High School and Tyler Junior College. After moving to Dallas, she retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone and returned to East Texas. After moving to Bullard, she owned and operated the Bullard Banner for several years. Cherie was known for her quiet, sweet ways and love for all things beautiful, and will be missed by all who love her.

She was preceded in death by her father, JD Whisenhunt; mother, Pansy Whisenhunt Bean; a sister, Barbara; and brothers, Mike and Ted Whisenhunt.

She is survived by a sister, Judy Elliott of Tyler; and stepfather, Lawrence Bean of Bullard.
