BILL G. WHISENHUNT

Bill G. Whisenhunt, of Sapulpa, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at his home at the age of 76. Bill was born Aug. 16, 1928 in Slick to Homer D. and Ethel Cooper Whisenhunt. On Feb. 24, 1948 he married Irene Holden.

Bill was a truck driver and had worked in construction. He loved to hunt and loved music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one granddaughter.

Survivors are his wife Irene, of the home; sons Gene Whisenhunt and wife Mary Lou, of Fort Worth, Texas and Ross Whisenhunt and wife Jeannie, of Kellyville; daughters Yvette Watkins and husband Charles, of Sapulpa, and Yvonne Wilkinson and husband Bruce, of Grandbury, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and sisters Coralie Holden, of Fauke, Ark. and Mary Lou McGuire and husband Millard, of Kellyville.

Funeral services for Mr. Whisenhunt have been set for 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2005 in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
