Whisenant Rites Held in Pine Bluff Saturday
Last rites were held at Pine Bluff in Montgomery County at 2 p.m. Saturday for Mrs. Rittie Alberta Whisenant, who died at her home on 410 School Street in Kosciusko after an illness of serveral weeks. She was 68.
Mrs. Whisenant was a native of Montgomery County. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Winona.
Officiating at the last rites were the Rev. Clarence Burden & the Rev. John A. Wade. Burial was in the Pine Bluff Cemetery, with Nowell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Besides her husband, G.T. Whisenant of Kosciusko, she leaves 2 daughters, Alberta & Mattie Pearl Whisenant & 2 sons, Luther & Estel Whisenant all of Kosciusko; 3 sisters, Mrs. Rosie Jones, Bakerfield, Calif.; Mrs. Florence Moorehead, Kosciusko, & Mrs. Augusta Wright, Stevensville, Texas.
