Green Whisnant, Jr

GREEN WHISNANT, JR. CHATTANOOGA, TN.: Green Whisnant Jr., 61 passed away, Saturday, November 21, 2009.

He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired employee of TVA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Green and Louise Robinson Whisnant, Sr., daughter, Eunice Whisnant, siblings, Lovell and Delois Whisnant.

Mr. Whisnant is survived by his sons, Greg, Gerald and Zavia Whisnant, daughter, Shinocka Whisnant, siblings, Fred (Edna) and Jim Whisnant and Annie (James) Jackson; grand children, Kedria and Kaylee Whisnant.

Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CST, Sunday, November 29, 2009, with Bro. Anthony Martin officiating.

Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery, Monday, November 30, 2009, at 1:30 CST.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. CST , Saturday, November 28, 2009.
