Wanda Merle Whisennand

GLASGOW - Wanda Merle (Nelson) Whisennand, 91, of Glasgow, who with her husband farmed northwest of Fort Peck for 54 years until retiring, died of natural causes Tuesday at her home in Glasgow.

Her funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Bell Chapel in Glasgow, with burial at Galpin Cemetery in Fort Peck. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include sons Lyle Whisennand of Anacortes, Wash., and Jerry Whisennand of Gonzales, La.; a daughter, Lila Kulczyk of Nashua; a sister, Marlene Ferguson of Wolf Point; nine grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, 15 great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Whisennand, in 2006.
