James Floyd "Buddy" Whisenhunt

Mr. James F. "Buddy" Whisenhunt, age 72, a resident of Gillham, Arkansas, died Saturday, September 3, 2005 in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born on Friday, November 11, 1932 in Arkinda, Ark. to Samuel Lee and Dora Augusta Mangus Whisenhunt. He was retired from Halliburton and he was a rancher.

Mr. Whisenhunt was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Whisenhunt is survived by his wife, Becky Jane Freeman Whis-enhunt of Gillham; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Lee and Karen Whisenhunt, Pat and Velma Whisenhunt all of Gillham; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Mike Campbell of Mena; four brothers, Gene, Harvey and David Whisenhunt all of Gillham and Charles Whisenhunt of Dierks; two sisters, Linda Vaught of Horatio and Inez Parks of Wickes; six grandchildren, Morgan Frachiseur, Angie Frachiseur, Brad Whisenhunt, Rebecca Campora, Tara Whisenhunt and Meagan Whisenhunt; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsie Frachiseur, Austin and Tristan Whisenhunt, Gage and Carly Ward and Dacie Campora, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Whisenhunt were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2005 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen with David Jacobs, minister officiating. Burial followed in the Mineral Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

The family was at the home of Becky Whisenhunt at 169 Mineral Rd., Gillham, AR.
