Note*He enlisted in the C.S.A. April 28, 1862, in Co. K, 24th Arkansas Infantry. Later he transferred to Dawson's Regular Infantry as a private. The last muster roll on file shows him present as late as Feb 29, 1864. (From a Confederate Widow's pension application made by M. J. Whisenhunt for her husband Adam.) Author's note: I did not find this information for Adam during my search of the 'Consolidated Index to Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers'.
